Rc Sport Lock Changing Combination

winning the "Karwendel mountain running" in Mittenwald

shortly before the finish ceremony (Photo: Winfried Stinn)

2009, I had provided the Karwendel mountain run a moderate performance, which I was a incentive to make it better this year. With the knowledge of good form I also played the drop in temperatures in recent days in his hands.
Already on Saturday, I traveled to Mittenwald me as steady rain, received fresh temperatures and cloud-shrouded mountains, I already came first doubt, whether the event could be performed on the original course. In an Italian near the Martina Glagow Park I ate rigatoni dinner excellent all verdure , due to the wet weather, I rejected my plan to drink in the pedestrian zone to another beer, but decided to give me in the hotel room with Mankell's "The white lioness to relax. "
On Sunday in the morning I found out personally during the public issue of OK-leader Kurt King, the race would lead to an alternative route (on the Kranzberg). I was happy about the fact that the center Walder had reacted so quickly to the adverse conditions including was the replacement route is not a shortened original route, but an alternative route across the valley (which had to be so short notice also marked yet). I focused on the new route, with 9.5 km, 600 hm good and 150 meters minus should be varied and fast, I particularly impressed me the fact that the last 2 km would be overcome more than 200 hm. As
fell at 10.10 clock the start, it was pleasantly cool, no rain, some passages on the track were of course soaked. Tactically, it seemed prudent to start quickly. Together with Hannes Rungger I managed to drag the field in the length, but we could not sell us, as in the downhill tracks some runners were able to catch up again and again. After 16, 17 minutes, we were racing but then got away, but on the following long downhill sections and then joined First Helmut Schiessl Korbinian Schoenberger. I even had to tear down a little used, but a short ascent at minute 25 for the disruption. There were four-lay it flat to 1.5 km and then a good 2 km-long final climb before us. As I had felt good in the flat passages, I decided to force, was able to keep Jack, Helmut and Korbinian lost a few seconds. When it at minute 30, 31, went into the final climb, I held up the pace and was able to pull away immediately, I was actually a victory at the Karwendel mountain running counter and I ordered no longer escape. When reached second Helmut Schiessl, Hannes Rungger had ongoing, the goal.

Mountain Running Championship, Italy, 2 Finally a good race

at the starting line (Photo: Marica Martinelli)

The 2 Race for the mountain run-Italy Cup in 2010 resulted from the Monte Bondone Trento Sopramonte (10.5 km, + 1.100, - 200 m).
8 days after the Zermatt Marathon, I tried to recommend me for the September to be held in Slovenia Mountain Running Championships. Since there can be placed six athletes per nation, for me was announced a top-six ranking. From Zermatt Marathon I had is recovering quickly and well, but I had the great heat of the last days rather added (if it is even too hot to sleep ...).
The course route met me-not quite a first long ascent (interrupted by a short piece, including downhill sloping passage on grassland) of just over 4 km long central section was fast on a forest, with the last 2 km were downhill. The final climb, which I wanted to host the race was 3 km long (to my surprise, then 1.5 of them flat).
Shortly after take-off (10 m before a right turn) narrowed the distance runners so we were forced to adopt a single file line. I had fared pretty well, ran at about 15 Place. As before with the ongoing demolition something, I lost 5.6 seconds on a larger group around Andrea Regazzoni, Mauro Lanfranchi, Hannes Rungger and Emanuele Manzi. In the first steep section after about 10 minutes of the race I was able to catch up on this group later on the 6th Gabriele Abate had we (had the favorite trio with the twins and De Gasperi Dematteis already sold) to the 25 seconds behind. On a short oblique passage I got back a few seconds on my group until the end of the middle part (after I Simukeka, Golinelli, and Lanfranchi Manzi had left behind me) I was able to catch up on Regazzoni and Rungger. By the time another 5 km to the finish were lacking, we were in the stands 8, 9 and 10 The next few miles were downhill and a half me a bit too fast, Simukeka flew past us (on the final climb to become final break). To Abate we lacked at the beginning of the final climb to the 30 ", and the strong current Pintarelli Gil was still ahead of us to rank seventh
As there are three kilometers before the finish was uphill, put on Rungger Hannes, I could not even go with him with Andrea Regazzoni. After a few minutes, I finally found a good rhythm and was able to unlock 1.5 km before the finish on Regazzoni, a little later I also sought Pintarelli. We approached while rank 6 (Abate) and 7 (Rungger), but it was too late and Pintarelli and me only the sprint was to rank 8, I got close.
The tight spacing to rank 6 (15 sec) and the Lost Sprint are a little sad, on the other hand, I am satisfied with my performance. The shape fits there are more races on and in terms of World Cup qualifying, the starting point now is not the best but I'll try it at the decisive run in Susa (August 22) again.

Mountain Marathon!

the climb of Sunnegga, about 26km (Photo W. Stinn)
appeared after my win at the Zermatt Marathon 2008 me luck on the mountain long distance to have left: 2008 I got myself one just before the Jungfrau Marathon febrile infection (and could then run a satisfactory race), last year I broke out in Zermatt (also due to the heat) that the Jungfrau Marathon, it got even worse: I had to, because of a muscle injury, give up early.
developing self-confidence so it was important to finally once again reap a sense of achievement. The conditions seemed good: I had the last three months can work out well and that Berg first eight races of the season at a consistently high level of services provided.
Even before the start of the year's ninth Edition of the race was aware of all the participants that it would be a hot race. Add to my sharpest opponents, I counted the winner of the LGT Marathon Patrick Wieser, the Graubünden-Marathon winner Tim Short and in an excellent mountain running form located Jean-Christophe Dupont. The race developed, in my view, unfavorable: Wieser went to a brisk pace, I left after only one kilometers tear down (too well I remembered in 2009 when I had followed the pace dictated by the Finn Raittila too long and then slumped horribly ). I tried, behind the afloat started to form a group of Swiss-alone, but the Frenchman followed me Dupont. In Wieser we initially lost 5-6 seconds per km on the flat area in the climb, we got to a minimum. After 30 minutes I got from my Dupont tow. I concentrated on my rhythm, out pacing to and especially not to drink as much as possible. After 60 minutes I stopped racing 1:20 behind Wieser, in Zermatt (km 20.5) was 1.40. Dupont, however, was closer to me than I thought. He followed me at a distance of only 30 "

After Zermatt is a forest trail leads to 6 km with 700 meters to Sunnegga (km 30): At this crucial stretch, I lost more Wieser time, and when I turned around once, seemed dangerously close to Dupont. The art lay in the high-speed, but not to keep high-I decided the race for a final time to 3:10 to put my energy and divide accordingly. The high temperatures to over 2000 m above sea level. M. surprised me-but I drank as much as I could. From Sunnegga I could enlarge on a faster track of the distance to Dupont at Riffelalp (km 39, 2:49), I went with 1.55 lead over the French in the final climb and was able to defend with the last reserves of rank 2. Patrick Wieser had a worthy winner, crossed just four minutes before me the goal line.
